SCDCA Appoints Director of Communications

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Carri Grube Lybarker, Administrator of the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs announces the appointment of Bailey Parker as Director of Communications.

In 2012, Ms. Parker started her communications career at KSTU FOX 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah as a producer, reporter and fill-in anchor. She made the jump to public relations in 2015 as a communications specialist with Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. She won six public relations related awards while at DRMC.

Ms. Parker recently moved to Columbia, SC for her husband to attend graduate school at the University of South Carolina. She is a graduate from Utah State University with degrees in Journalism & Communications and Creative Writing. She is originally from Glastonbury, CT. She is married to Tyler Parker and has a son, Wesley.
